“Client” means you, the individual or entity engaging our services.“Services” means roofing, siding, trim, exterior painting, bathroom remodels, light remodeling, and other exterior home services offered by Jon Payne Development.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By requesting a quote, booking an appointment, or otherwise engaging our Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

3. Services

ScopeWe provide exterior home improvement services including roofing, siding, trim, painting, and light remodeling.Quotes & EstimatesAll quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated in writing.Estimates exclude permit fees, unexpected structural repairs, and scope changes requested after acceptance.

4. Booking, Payments, and Fees

DepositA non-refundable deposit of 10–30% (as specified in your quote) is due upon acceptance to secure scheduling.Progress PaymentsBalance payments are due as outlined in the payment schedule of your estimate (e.g., at milestones or upon completion).Late PaymentsInvoices not paid within 15 days of due date incur a late fee of 1.5% per month.Accepted MethodsWe accept credit/debit cards, checks, and online payments.

5. Client Obligations

Site AccessYou must provide safe and clear access to the work area.Permits & ApprovalsUnless otherwise agreed, you are responsible for obtaining any required permits or HOA approvals.UtilitiesEnsure power and water availability on-site at no cost to Jon Payne Development.

6. Changes and Cancellations

Change Orders
Any modifications to the original scope must be documented in a written Change Order and may affect price and schedule.
Cancellation by Client
If you cancel more than 7 days before start, you forfeit your deposit. Cancellations within 7 days may incur additional fees. Cancellation by Us
We may reschedule or cancel due to severe weather, unsafe conditions, or other unforeseen events; we will notify you promptly and work to reschedule.

7. Warranties & Disclaimers

Standard WarrantyWe warrant our workmanship for 1 year from completion. Manufacturer warranties on materials pass through to you.DisclaimerExcept as expressly stated, all services are provided “as is” without other warranties of any kind.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our Services is limited to the total amount you paid us for the project. We are not liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site—text, graphics, logos, images, and software—is our property or licensed to us. You may not reproduce or use such content without our prior written consent.

10. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary or non-public business information disclosed during the course of our engagement.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in Travis County, Texas courts.

12. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on this page with a new “Effective Date.” Your continued use of the Site or Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
